SOURCING OF APPLICANTS

To ensure an adequate and quality manpower pool PERIDOT participates in conventions, employment gatherings and job expositions where prospective recruits are oriented and briefed about job opportunities and benefits.


PERIDOT strictly follows standard recruitment procedures.  Applicants are carefully evaluated by professional consultants in each specific fields.  They are required to take the appropriate professional examinations or trade skill tests.  The foreign principal is given the option to selct candidates based on comprehensive applicant references and other documents.


SERVICES OFFERED

As private recruitment agency, PERIDOT recruits, deploys, professionals/managers, staff/workers, musicians, entertainers for foreign principals overseas on a corporate or institutional basis or through authorized foreign employment agencies.


PERIDOT is authorized to charge its principals service fee and on the part of the workers it recruited placement and processing fee are needed to cover the cost of providing the following services:


POEA ACCREDITATION OF PRINCIPAL

Philippine Labor Laws require that foreign companies desirous of employing Filipino staff/workers, musicians and entertainers be accredited with POEA, PERIDOT can provide services to them so that accreditation can be obtained.  PERIDOTs services includes the preparations of, submission to follow up with POEA and the Philippine Embassy or Philippine Consular Office concerned for the Release of the required accreditation.


RECRUITMENT, SELECTION AND TRAINING

Foreign principals may request PERIDOT to prepare the groundwork for the visit of their representatives in connection with the final interview and selection of applicants.  PERIDOT can coordinate the trade test and medical examination tests as may be required by the principals for this purpose.  PERIDOT maintains working tie-ups with trade testing companies and accredited medical clinics.


FINAL INTERVIEW FACILITATIONS

After PERIDOT has conducted the preliminary interviews, screening and testing, the principal for this purpose may include scheduling interviews, auditioning of talents and arranging the briefing on employment terms and conditions.


PREPARATION OF EMPLOYMENT PAPERS AND FACILITATION OF TRAVEL DOCUMENTS

PERIDOT can provide the principals with advice and service on the philippine government's rules and regulations on the employment contracts.  It can draft the contracts and submit the same to the principal for considerations.  PERIDOT can thereafter prepare all the necessary request and support documents so that the workers can eventually get their travel papers to include medical certifications, insurances, passports, visa's and have the same processed by POEA.


WORKERS AND BENEFICIARIES WELFARE

While the staff/workers, entertainers and musicians, are employed overseas, PERIDOT shall monitor their conditions and report the same to their families.  It will also ensure that the workers and/or their principals comply with their requirements of the Philippine government as regards to salary remittances, SSS and Medicare coverage and payment of income tax.
